Ok guys I’m not stupid I know how to flush the rad. But is using an actuall flush additive a good idea. It says it clears out all rust a deposits. Or should I just do water and no additive.

you say you know how to flush the radiator, so you shouldn’t be asking this question.

well, let’s use some deductive reasoning since you answered your own question, but didn’t think it through enough to realize it:
what’s the purpose of flushing a radiator? to clean it out, right? well, if you have a substance that is quite safe for flushing, and gets more crap out than water does, wouldn’t it be a good idea to use it?
seriously…stop and think for yourself every now and then, and you won’t have to have the answers spoon-fed to you every time.
