ok first arkansas only has 1000’ tracks so cant run 1/4 without driving about 3 hrs or so away. here is how i did but first, this car is stock only a filter and exaust, and its a gs.

I launched at 2200 and didnt spin to bad. Did’nt miss any gears or nething and from these times my 1/4 would be about a low 15, not bad for 180k with a filter and a exaust lol. but this was my very first time on a track so my rt sucked!!! but better luck next time.
low 15 sec 1/4 mile with a 2.5 60 ft seems unlikely, if not impossible. With an LS i’m assuming you have one, you need at least a 2.2 60ft to get a mid to low 15 sec 1/4 mile.
some of my first times at the track, i got a 2.4 60 ft and that only yielded a 15.8 1/4 mile. Last time i got a 2.2 60 ft and ended up with a 15.47 1/4 mile time. 162k miles with a cai on omni power full coilovers.
lies, all i have is i/h/e, on a 92 LS, and i cut a 2.3 60, which is my best ever, and a 15.3 @ 90 which is my best also, i figure a 2.2 60 would put me closer to 15 flat.
actually there is a guy on www.arimport.com he has a rsx type-s and he got a 60 ft of 2.2 and he’s running high 11’s so just cause i have a 2.5 doesnt mean i could’nt run a low 15. i mean damn the rsx-s is running a 13.9 i believe in the 1/4 also and his 60 ft time is also a 2.2 so 60ft times dont always make it so. U have to count also driver, temp, alt., track, traction, etc… its possible and i think i would’ve nailed a 15 had we been at a 1/4 especially since i know i would’ve done better after my first run. And for some freak reason my car has a hella top end. 3rd pulls very fuckin hard!! and so does 1st, 2nd, and 4th. but my ls only pulled hard in 1-2nd. this car is a gs. and this car would walk all over my old ls!!
You said you launched at 2200 rpm? That’s too low. I’m guessing you were full throttle launching. Try launching at 3500 and hold the gas where it is until the tires stop spinning. But in my opinion you shouldn’t launch a stock LS below 3000. This should improve your 60 foot times.
ya man i’m with everyone else on this one. no way u would pull low 15’s with that 60ft time. sorry its jus not gonna happen. and the rsx runin 13.9 and a 2.2 60 ft is cuz he all top end.
Yeah, my 91’ RS with Only muffler delete ran a 15.43 @ 88.00Mph on a 2.23 60’.
And just to gove yu an idea of your 1000’ compared to mine… I ran a 12.7 1000’ to your 13.5… see what I’m sayin? Oh… and my 1/8 mile was a 9.8 @ 70.65Mph
