I knew something like this was gonna happen eventually.
My car has been having some problems starting up. It’s only happened 2 times but its bugging me because i guess it can happen anytime.
Both times leaving school, when i’m about to turn on my car, the engine turns but it doesnt start. You know that sound that it makes right before it turn on? Well that’s constant. =/ The first time it happened I had to push start it because it wouldnt go anywhere. However, it would turn on for like a split second, go up to like 500rpms and then shut off.
The 2nd time which was today was similar. I got it to start-up. It idled normal for about 3 seconds then it shut off. Then the second time i got it turn on I immediately gave it gas. That seemed to do the trick. I waited for a minute to see if anything funny was to happen, and it seemed fine. Driving normally for the whole trip home.
I don’t really get it because it is a random occurrence.The car has been fine besides those 2 times and haven’t noticed anything suspicious. Battery, starter? IDK.
