Hi all, Got a little too happy with the nitrous last night and now I have low compression and a dead miss in cyl. 3. So I guess I get to build a motor for my grocery getter…lol. Any 1 got some specs or ideas on building a bad boy? I was thinking on Summit’s Arias brand piston kit. They have pn# ARA-H8141Fk which claims 11:1 compression and notes “Replacement for up to 100HP nitrous system” Kooool!!! I want to build a hot all motor set up but still have the jug on hand. THink those pistons, some 403 or 404’s, springs, and new bearings would be sufficent? What else do I need Besides the obvious… What about some head work? I build v-8s… This is my first 4 cyl hop up internally. What else should I do? What would it take to get 200+ hp out of a 1.8 non-v-tech all motor. I want it mean! but not a $5000.00 rebuild. Any help would be great…
