My rear defrost has just a few areas that work. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it that was not a result of the ICU? I know that there are various repair kits out there. Does anyone have any suggestions?
i wish mine worked, stupid tint shop disconnected it from the window and i dont know how to put it back to work

My issue seems to be the strips on the window. My rear defroster switch works and turns on but nothing happens on the window.
over the years shit happens to the strips. window tinting can be a bitch to it too. (removal and such) it can be fixed.
If you have parts of the strip missing you can use this. If you’re like me and the previous owner scraped all of your defroster off you’re probably better off replacing the window/hatch as that repair kit is expensive and there isn’t much in the bottle.
