does that button click down like the others? mine does not and just trying to troubleshoot why the rear defrost doesnt work. the main light on the button does work but the top doesnt do anything. thanks for any help.
If I remembered correctly, the button doesn’t stay down, it just lights up. By the way if your defroster doesn’t work, it’s a sign of a bad ICU. Does the slow intermitent wiper still work? How bout the door chime?
Those are signs of a bad ICU.

yeah i ended up finding some info on the icu here. so i replaced it with one i found from the junk yard and put new capacitors on it and im still getting the same problem with the defrost. everything else is still working except for the door chime which was tweeking out like a week ago and now does nothing(never did work tho in the 2 years ive had it). but ill end up grabbing another icu that looks perfect and checking a couple other things too. if i figure out what is wrong ill post. tried 3 different relays and 2 different defrost switches so its not those lol. but according to the owners manual its gotta be either the icu or ground wires.
problem fixed. i replaced with a undamaged icu i found and everything works perfect! didnt upgrade the capacitors like i should but i dont wanna mess this one up lol. heres a link to the thread with all this good info if anyone else is looking.
