Rear diffuser and front wind splitter

Dear G2 members,

My name is Justin Powell. My car is a 1991 Acura Integra GS four door. I would like a tie rod style adjustable front wind splitter and a well crafted rear diffuser. does anyone have any information on where i could aquire one of these? i prefer carbon fiber. information on a Belly Pan would be nice too but i can build that myself since looks wont matter lol.

                                                              sincerly
                                                                 JP

I’ll bite.
The front wind splitter is ok, given your lip is flat across the bottom. If you want it to be functional you will need to secure it to the frame of the car as well as the front lip.
I could make you a carbon fiber Front splitter with some adjustable tie rods if you want for around $350 (you can see some of my work here:
http://www.g2ic.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=74)
as for the rear diffuser, the problem with the 90-93 integra is the rear muffler is right in the way of where a diffuser needs to go. I was underneath a DA today trying to figure out how to make a rear diffuser work for the DA.

Oh and if it is a track car, you just can’t live without the carbon trunk I make for your car, right? sorry for the shameless promotion
hope that helps

Ive had interest in a front splitter/rear diffuser as well for when i track the car. Maybe the rear diffuser could be made as if there was no muffler at all, and it would be up to the customer to trim what was needed to fit it? I figure some people have custom made exhaust and they might be passenger side exit, or a different muffler style. That way it might work for many different applications. Either way im interested.

We also really need a nice 92-93 rear lip, not much to go with there.

the diffuser is gonna be pretty much useless unless the bottom of the car is flat. if you fab up a floor cover like they make for the s2k, a diffuser will help.
there’s just too much turbulent air going under the car for a diffuser to do anything.

That was my original plan, to fab up a full “skidplate” kind of thing with channels to direct airflow into the splitter. I just wasnt sure it was a feasable project to get into. I still may try it.
