Rear-End Face Lift & Side Markers

I have a 1990 4-Door DA Integra. I am considering various different upgrades for my car this summer, one of which would be the 92-93 rear-end face lift. Is this doable without major reconstruction of my car. I was hoping it would be as simple as swapping out the trunk lid and tail lights.

One other thing…I have seen a couple of different photos posted of other members 4-Door DA Integra’s. On the side molding piece just in front of the front door, where mine says DOHC, there is an integrated amber side marker. I know that on JDM Integra’s, there was an amber side marker in the fender, above the molding; I think the marker integrated into the molding looks cleaner. Any idea where I can find this piece, or is this something that was retrofitted from another vehicle?

answered your own question on that one. Do exactly that. Switch deck lids and tail lights.

DarkDb1 has that on his car. Its a side marker from another car and NO its not from an accord (bmw if I’m not mistaken)

i know this is an old thread but i was wondering about the side marker in the dohc molding. i tried searching a bit but only found this thread.

Can anyone show me a picture of how they installed their sidemarker in the molding?

I would be happy to assist you.

The side marker came with the car, But i did some research and found it came from a E36 M3.

The person that did it extended a wire from the corner lights reflector bulb and cut a 1"x2" hole behind the side molding and drilled a small hole for a screw.

i think that looks pretty sweet because the bmw’s marker is flatter. the sidemarkers i have are kinda bubbly and i think they would stick out kinda far. if i can find some i probably will install them they way you have them, but im not sure yet.

since its the rear wouldnt it be called a BUTT lift??
