FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD I HATE 3 PARTY HOSTING. THEY ALWAYS FUCK WITH YOUR SHIT

i have a squeaky fricken hatch too and for us weight consious folks with no interior and 430WHP its one more loud noise i would rather do without

i too had a squeeking hatch, and it was quite annoying, and since this link didnt work i took it upon myself to find a solution.

i went to pep boys and found some PB blaster brand “dry lube” its basically a liquid that dries to a film. used for sliding window rails, sliding glass doors, and stuff like that. the can print looks just like PB blaster rust penetrant, but its a lighter color, and it says “DRY LUBE”. i sprayed it on the latch (the part that hatch sits into) very liberally, and it cured the problem.

i also did my throttle cable, clutch cable, and hood release latch/cable assembly, as well as all my door hinges and the door open switch things that were inop before. everything it has touched so far has been better with it. it even lubricates your lock cylinders and ignition switch, parts you stick the key.

here is a link to the “dry lube” that im referring to.

the first link still doesn’t work

what part usually causes the squeeking?

mine squeaked for a bit and then i put some electrical tape around the latch of the hatch which looks like a “U” and it solved the problem…i hope that helps
