Based on that pic, I’s say you did a good job on the conversion. I’m sure it’s way cheaper too.

I’ve got the rear JDM seats in excellent condition. I’ll sell them shipped for $295. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll post pictures.
If you drive down from San Antonio I can sell you the matching front JDM seats also in excellent condition. I would sell you all the seats for $350 if you pick them up. I’m actually in the process of parting out my car and you could get other parts from me, too.
I put the rear seats on ebay.

nice write up what all are you parting with form your integra?
Hey Jeff! Nice write up! But would you happen to have pictures of the brackets. I just picked up some 4dr rear seat for $20 would like to do this as well. Email me: randyc914@gmail.com
Thanks!
I found a 4dr in the yard & tore the seats apart to get at the headrests.
The bracket is pretty simple. It has 2 round, hollow bars on it where the headrest posts slide in.
If you took your rear apart, all you’d have to do is get some metal tubes that fit. Then weld them in the right places.
Slide the headrests into them after you make the holes in your seat fabric & have re-attached the seat material together.
You may have to make a piece for the tubes to attach to, but only to compensate for distance from back of seat panel. Proper fitment/positioning & the like. I’m not too sure on this, as I just grabbed the headrests, not the whole upper seat portions. Although, it really shouldn’t be that big a deal to make the bracket.

HAHA! I did the same thing a year ago. I was really curious in how the headrests were mounted so, I took apart some 4 door rear seats in the junk yard. You’re right about the tube like brackets. You also need the plastic pieces that the head rests slide into and fasten with some sort of clips. You can get the plastic pieces new from Acura but, they’re like $12 a piece and you need 4 of them. I guess it’s back to junk yards.
Nah, I took those too. I try to make sure I get the most complete part possible from the yard. I was thinking of taking the brackets too, but had nothing to get them off.
