I have a 90’ JDM
I want to delete the rear key lock.
Is it easy enough to do - what is required?
Of course I still want the hatch to open when I pull the release next to the drivers seat.

Remove panel in the trunk. Unscrew the lock. Put something to block/cover the hole. Done?
Yes^^^ otherwise you will have to get someone to weld it up, make flush and repaint it.

So I can just unscrew the lock and the hatch will still open from the drivers seat lever…?
