Rear Pads not wearing correctly

Hi-
I am putting my stock alloys on for winter and noticed that the inside of the rear rotor is only being pressed on half of the surface. This basically means that my inboard pad isn’t sitting flat against the inside of the rotor upon braking. What can i do to fix this situation. I have all new Brembo blanks with Metal Master pads. Please help.

Mike

There is a pin on the piston, which lines up with the pad. The pin has to be at 12 o’clock for proper installation.

Start with the slide pin and make sure it’s positioned correctly and properly greased. While you’re at it make sure the caliper piston isn’t seized and is moving freely. If the pad is worn incorrectly too much it’s a good idea to go ahead and replace it.
