Rear speaker sizes in a RS?

I originally cut the trim pieces to mount speakers to, now I want a cleaner look, first of all what size speakers do you guys have in your ls’s and gs’s? I know 5.25 in the front but I mounted 6.5’s to the trim piece in the rear. did you guys just mount 5.25’s to the bracket in the back then throw the cover on? sorry for what seem like stupid questions but remember the RS’s didn’t come with rear speakers…

You can use 5.25 or 6.5 in the rear, and my Rs came with speakers in the rear

this is the piece that is different on my car, insted of grills for the speakers it was a solid flat plastic piece

My car came with everything you just posted a pic of. Out of the 3 Rs’s i’ve owned only one of them didn’t have a speaker location in the rear.

You mount your speakers to the part in the second pic. The first pick is a cover. The grill with the cloth on it pops out

I put 6.5s in mine, front and back.

5.25’s all around - fit perfect, 6.5’s would require work to fit easily…

6 1/2s fit perfect all around and i got an rs and it has stock rear speaker brackets there i jus ended up buying sum gsr speaker covers…but b4 i had these (sorry for the big picture)
