Rear wiper plug part #'s and instructions

Wiper arm, motor and chubby rubber bushing are off. All that’s left is a nice round hole in the glass. I have Mr. 90301-SR3-000 in hand. What means did you use to get that guy screwed down in place?

TIA.

put it on the windshield, and use silicone to glue it in place from underneath the glass so it still looks clean on the outside.

This will also seal it from leaks.

If you have the proper replacement part, rubber grommet, large washer and a nut.

I figured as much. Just using gasket sealer sounds pretty ghetto.

Here are the parts i ordered from naples acura. I just told the guy i wanted a rear wiper plug kit.

90301-SR3-000 (rear plug)
90156-SH3-000 (bolt-washer)
52621-SB2-004 (washer, RR.)

You should still use the big rubber bushing.

Here’s a pic…

And the Grommet 76707-ST7-000

Can’t remember which one it is. :stuck_out_tongue:

If your going to archive I have the parts as
Hatch Window Plug 90301-SR3-000
Grommet 76707-ST7-000
Bolt 90156-SH3-000
Washer 94103-14200

and a total price of all those parts would come in dandy for the archive :stuck_out_tongue:

Alright, here are the prices…
90301-SR3-000 (rear plug) = $15.11
90156-SH3-000 (bolt-washer) = $00.13
52621-SB2-004 (washer, RR.) = $04.73

These are prices from naples acura. Mike K who works there and posts on honda-tech.com hooks people up on parts.

Hey maybe I can install that for you too!

do u seal up the water squirter up top too? and also, does the back window stay clean, i mean to clean it u just basically have to wash the car again rit? is it worth it to take it off? and finally, how long does it take? thanks

This is probably a simple bolt on bolt off affair. But can anybody who has installed it please post up a bare bones step by step install instructions. TIA.

don’t use the SEAL it looks like crap. Just use the clear silicon glue. I bought it at pep boys for $2.00 and it makes a great seal. Just put and even amount on the piece and then after you press it on open the hatch and fill in the hole area with more silicon and let it dry for an hour or so. Thats what i did it looks great and no water can get it.

The seal method just doesn’t look right so can we add to the teg tips that you can use this method also?

got a pic of it? also, with that method do u have to buy any parts?

Use the seal ! Silicone is ghetto . Just take a razor knife and kut the rubber down almost flush to the glass . Stick plug in ,come from underneath with bolt and its done . Looks waaaaaaaaaaay better too . I hate rear wipers .

This should help.

That’s for a Type-R but the parts used are the same as the parts i used.

Hey Ryan(DaLiLMan) you got some mail. I did the hatch plug on mine so if you need any help let me know.

So who would like to purchase a used rear wiper arm and motor assembly? Inexpensive!
