I need to know what plug to use…teg tips had the part # and when I showed it to Acura there was no such part…So they gave me a cam plug to use but I don’t want to take off the wiper to find out that the plug won’t fit. So any ideas? or will it fit?
that part number is for honda. so you have to go to a honda dealer to get the plug. i believe the plug was from a honda civic 92-95 cx or something like that, it was the lower base model with no rear wiper.
do a :search: for “hatch plug” you’ll have all the info you need (read the topic that comes up and has the most posts, i forget who its by, but JonsteR dishes out all the info for ya). I just ordered mine a couple weeks ago… i wonder what the hell is taking them so long.
Order these 2 parts from your Honda dealer or HondaAutomotiveParts.com (Majestic Honda):
90156-SH3-000 BOLT-WASHER (6X24) $0.10
90301-SR3-000 NUT, RR. WIPER MOTOR PIVOT (6MM) $13.60
You’ll also need a fender washer from your local hardware store. I just did mine and it took 3 days to get from Majestic Honda in R.I.
I just put an Axis logo from a wheel center cap. peel and stick, no leaks plus it was free. nothing hanging down from the inside like on the picture i saw posted before.
