Remakes / reboots you'd LIKE to see

I’m not usually a fan of remakes or reboots but with hollywood being out of ideas and all, maybe they could make some remakes I’d actually want to see.

Capricorn One. I know I know there are several elements of this in Moon but I think with the right studio and cgi this could come off great.

The Rocketeer. I loved this movie growing up and was amazed that there were no sequels.

Robot Jox, Robot Wars , Crash and Burn. The stop motion action was a little dated in 1993 and with the technology today these movies might be too “good”.

Eureka’s Castle.

Wow… i thought i was the only one who liked that movie…

A modernized version of Band of the Hand

Lawnmower Man

None, anymore :frowning:

I had extremely high hopes for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, but was left disappointed, overall. It wasn’t terrible, but they really dropped the ball with that one.

I’d kind of like to see a remake of Phantasm, though. The later entries in the series were complete diarrhea, but the first one was pretty good. I’d like to see The Tall Man back on screen, again. But, I’d hate to see who they put in that role.

I was excited for Red Dawn. After hearing about how they gutted and changed it so as not to offend our dear close friends the Chinese, and having pushed back the release date four times (with a fifth likely), fuck it. I’ll torrent it but I won’t spend money to see it.

peewee’s big adventure

I like Peewee’s Big Adventure the way it is.

After much thought, I HATED the way they did Interview With a Vampire. It was a slap in the face to the book and could have been a much better movie.

westworld.

The Lost Boys

Back to the Future. Keep the soundtrack and the original cast. Can you imagine what kind of wacky adventures would ensue?

Great Scott!

Queen of the Damned was even worse.

Dude yes now we’re talkin

I’m going to hell for laughing at that…

…I’ll save you a seat.

I want the Biff from Part II in the whole thing
