The previous owner glued on the side trim, now it fell off and there is a ring of glue where the trim use to be.
Anything I can use to remove this glue from the body without doing much harm to the paint?
I’ve used nail polish remover for tough sap on my roof before. That may work for you.

Best way I have found. Warm (not melt) the adhesive with a heating gun. Then use 3M adhesive remover to remove the adhesive. It might take a few times before you get it all off depending on how long it has been on the car. Good luck!
