Fcm need a little help here, ur the best at these things… ive already removed my a.c, cruise, p.s, my question is, since these accesories have all been removed, is it ok to remove the related wiring… ive searched and even checked my helms, but it doesnt say if it adversely affects the ECU or ICU. I wanna remove the relay for the extra fan, a.c, and remove the wire harness thats used for the c.c. Im tryin to clean my engine bay a little…
Yes you can remove the relays and wires, removing them will have no effect on anything else. 94
You can remove any of that wiring you’d like. But be careful. Sometimes different things will share a ground or power source. So be sure you are going through the wiring and paying attention to what you’re doing. It should be pretty self explanitory if you’re at all familiar w/ 12v DC wiring.
Does anyone have a list or pics on what I SHOULD NOT be touching.
I removed AC, PS, ABS so I have a ton of extra wires and connectors. I was going to trace cut off the connectors and tape the wires up. My concern is that I will cut a wire that is “looped” or shared with something essential.
