Removing sunroof visor

I did a search on this question, but nothing came up…

I bought my second G2 almost a month ago and it came with a factory sunroof visor. I know there are two clips that hold it down, but there must be some glue. I’m thinking about taking it off because it rattles and I prefer a cleaner look. What’s the best way of removing it without damaging the paint?

It is just held on by those two clips. If it seem sticky it is because it has been on there for 10 years…

Actually, Some people put a bead of silicone under the rubber gasket :tsk: That may be why it’s stuck.

It should come off without damaging the paint (if it is factory paint)
