is removing the rear defrosters possible? some people say they are built into the glass. can i scrape them off or pull them out somehow? has anyone tried to get rid of them? they are ugly as anything, especially with tint so i want to get rid of them.
They aren’t “built in” to the glass, so you can probably take it off, I dunno how difficult it will be though. Try a razor blade?
But what happens if your windows fog up? Maybe you don’t have that problem where you live, you lucky bastard! hehe

If you use a razor blade the only thing that will come off is the metal, the brown lines are baked into the glass they will not come off. :down:

but…but… you can’t see through fog… thats why you have a DEfogger… Hrm… sometimes… i really don’t get people…
Just break it and put plexi-glass on 
BTW…its horrible without the defroster in the rear…I had a broken 1 b4 and I couldn’t see sh!t.

i still have my old hatch, already with out glass LOL, im gonna fill in the wing holes and get this FAL one put in.

hmmm, mabe my windows dont get foggy? or maybe i like fog and hate ugly defrosters. anyway, its my car and i’ll fog up whatever i want.

anyone know how much that FAL window is? and how scratch resistant it is?
oh, and to anyone gettting rid of their old hatch glass. DON’T break it!!! That glass costs about $900 from acura. So i’d suggest first trying to find someone needs a replacement and sell it to them for like $200 or so. Cause even if they get a non oem one its probably gonna be minimum $500. Of course its pretty hard to find people who need one though. Thats why hatches don’t sell for much usually. But hey, its worth a shot.
