Im currently in the middle of a b16 swap as well as converting my car from auto to manual transmission. my car is a 92 integra and i was wondering if i would just use mounts for a manual b18 like what came in these cars or do i need to buy curtain mounts. any help?

Your original front, rear and drivers side mounts will work but don’t use them, go aftermarket. As for the transmission mount it depends on the transmission you have. Innovative makes automatic to manual conversion mounts for the cable and hydrolic transmissions. I don’t know if anyone else offers them, maybe someone else around here knows and can throw in another opinion.

All i was ever told when I was going to do the tranny swap was Hasport made the mounts you need to go from cable to hydrolic. they cme in just under 400 bucks I think. Dont go cheap tho, apparently its all or nothing when it comes to those mounts.

The mounting location on the chassis itself is different on manual and auto tranny cars. That’s why there is an “auto to manual” mount which is specific. You can use the stock mount, but there is some shimming involved. Shenrie did a write-up a long time ago, and others have posted about this as well. Do some searches and you’ll get tons of info…

does anyone know how tall the mount is that “converts” auto to manual?

I don’t know off hand, but you can search for the auto to manual swap info. This info has been posted numerous times. At least one of the threads gives info regarding shimming to make it fit - The amount which it needs to be shimmed would be the amount this mount is taller than the stock one…
