Overall Thoughts:
Pro Sport gauges are very similar to Defi gauges with a much cheaper price and no controlled needed. They are black when off and have the nice opening ceremony. They also have a peak recall and warning function. Considering the cost about $200 shipped for both gauges, I think it’s a great deal!
I’ve read mixed reviews but so far I am extremely pleased with them.
The gauges come with all the wiring harnesses, senders, gauge pods and hoods.
I bought directly from Pro Sport, www.prosportgauges.com.
Shipping took about a week. I feel they would of been here faster if I had order them at the start of the week (say Monday) instead of on Thursday.
Install is fairly simple and covered here: http://www.teknotik.com/jdmrides/forum/showthread.php?p=365340
The follow videos show the opening ceremony:
Here’s some video of the gauges.

Why 4 out of 5. The wiring is a REALLY thin ga, like 24 or 26. I feel they could of used something bigger.
Additional Comments:
I will update this if I come across any issues.
I use these gauges. the peak warning boost, oil temperature, and oil pressure. i’ve had them for about 9 months and they are great. I would recommend these to anyone.
I’ve had autometer witch weren’t all that bad. i actually liked them, megan racing and I will never go back to them, probably the worst set of gauges ever made besides blox. these prosports use the same stepper motor as what is found in the Defi witch the sweep is very smooth and not bouncy. no extra controller needed and there easy to read.
like the OP said, the wiring is very thin. that was my only complaint when I got mine too. you can daisy chain your setup witch was nice, and it comes with the daisy chain jumper. that means you connect one gauge to power, ground and lights, and the rest of the gauges are plug and play. there nice gauges for the price. they operate in amber or white. witch ever way you want to use them. mine are amber during the day, and white at night. the opening/closing ceremony is very nice. the gauge does a full sweep twice. once in amber and again in white. when peak/warning limit hits, the gauge flashes amber and white and beeps really loud. other places to buy these gauges are:

I ordered mine from both of these guys.
