Revs dont increase when air con is switched on

Recently my engine stopped revving up a little when I turn the air con on. Now when I turn the air con on the revs drop a bit.

Is there a vacuum line that triggers the revs going up? or is it run by a relay or something?

How does this relate to the question though?

no vacuum line. the electronic signal tpo turn on the compressor also send s a signal to the IAC to turn up the idle

hmm so my problem could be more serious than I thought? could it be a relay switch gone? if so, which ones do I need to check?? Thnx
