i love it when people hate on this trend then act like the only reason to add suspension parts is to race it. thats just absolutely retarded. im not to into undercar bling on my own stuff, but but i have spent over a grand on teh best coilovers i could find for the sole purpose of slamming it. i could have cared less that they just happen to also be the best performing system for that car, none of that mattered. all of the cheap coilovers didnt go low enough so i shelled out the cash to make MY car look the way I wanted it too. i guess the next time i go to a race track or autox event im gonna start walking around and telling all the owners of the cars “hey why didnt you turbo that? it would make it faster. youre gay for not making it boosted.”
rexone’s car was dope it was the reason i got into an integra in the first place…im sure their write up applies to track cars but im pretty sure rexone’s car wasn’t raced so to use his car as an example is retarded now if they saw a car like the civic at a track racing now thats a different story. these douches fail to realize that the import scene is not all about speed and functionality. its also about art and style. fuck their write up they were just hating on hondas , period, notice how the only 2 examples are hondas.

lowering springs not low enough? cut them way down and make spacers to get your ride height right., just as dangerous as laying your car on its belly in the first place anyway and you can spend the other 800 dollars on polishing those blingin hellaflush wheels. youll still fit in, the spring rate will actually have increased enough from eliminating coils that the car wont bottom out. shit, add some shocks and maybe your car could handle better than OEM.
its the posers, the people who slam shit and try to actually race it, who are being scrutinized.
there is a reason race cars dont normally win car shows. there is a reason why cars that look cool usually arent fast.

Hell my ride was an automatic and was really meant for cruisin. i could care less if people hate on it, bottom line is it’s my car ill do whatever i like. if you post your car on the internet expect to get shit for it. honestly hate is almost a form of flattery in my opinion. there are people out there that are actually taking the time to analyze what i did and for their opinion about it. on that same note, the import is always evolving no matter. people love to push the limits whether its finding that extra horsepower or running the lowest offset or riding as low as possible.

to be honest i was only posting out of the humor that i got out of it, i found it more funny than anything, especially since its not yours anymore.

Rexone is one of the few REALLY clean cars that i’ve seen. I understand people are entitled to their opinions. But just like one guy said. People do their cars up for their own individual purposes. Why do you think people started fixing imports in the early 90’s in the first place? If it was to be the fastest most performance oriented then why even look at an econo-box? Our cars were actually considered chick cars. But we broke off of that to be different. To have our own identity. If you don’t understand that then I better see everyone with lowered cars that have intake/headers/exhaust at race tracks across this nation going after the number one spot. A lot of you are starting to sound like 5.0 Mustang heads. If that’s the case then I am ashamed to be involved in this ish. I’ve been active in imports since 1994. A lot of guys did it for fame, I did it because it was fun and to stay out of gangbangin’ WTF do you guys know about the import scene anyway. I just wasted my breathe with most of you.
