Richer Fuel Maps & Ignition increase???

when would you need richer fuel maps or increase ignition timing?

iam running 12:1 compression in my b20vtec and getting a chip for my p28

that has richer fuel maps and moderate ignition…does that match my setup

i will be reving to 9k as well…vtec xover at 5500rpms

or is it having more increase ignition and moderate fuel map better for my all motor high rev setup?

opinions?

well most ignition curves are fine because you can change the base timing still on the distributer. stock maps are normally rich and retarded a bit, so you shouldnt need much more fuel. it would be best to actually tune ur motor tho.
