im thinkin of going rhd with jdm interior, also non-automatic seatbelts, trim that goes over the auto seatbelt track, and gauge cluster, any suggestions to where i can find any?
to convert to rhd you will need to take a jdm rhd teg and cut it in half, then cut your teg in half, now weld them together. your lhd teg does not have the provisions to accomodate a rhd setup.
I’m not trying to flame but why would you want a RHD car on the North American continent where every road is set-up for a LHD car? Sounds unsafe to me.

is that how you would do it?:bored:
i just want to hear from people who’s actually done it. ive seen a pic on the site, he said that he got a front clip from japan and did the conversion but i wasnt thikin about it then, but anyways anybody else?
Go and ask around at your local junk yards for XSI front clips. They may be able to get one for you. I think I remember some guy local in the NW that imports them direct too.
but Yes… I agree with Leif.
It’s cool to be different sometimes, but not at the price of your safety.
My buddy works at a wrecking yard and they have a right hand drive tow truck and flatbed truck from Japan. It’s funny to go through a drivethrough and make people do a double take. But it gets old fast.

i saw a picture once of some guys who took an ef and did the rhd conversion (the cut it in half and welded it together). pretty crazy! personally i’m not sure how much i’d trust something like that.
it may be possible to just get all the rhd stuff and put it in your car, but its going to take a LOT of modification. you will have to hack the firewall to pices and completely reconfigure all the holes in it. you’ll also need to completely redo the brake lines in the front (master cylinders are on different sides). It ‘might’ be able to be done like that, but if its even possible it would be very hard and take lots of time and money. more than it would cost to get yourself a complete jdm teg and just ship it over here.

you can as rhdINTEG, he’s the guy who got that done… forgot if he got it cut, rewelded, or if he got everything swapped…
cool ill try to hit him up, if theres welding involved im not doing it, thanks for your thoughts guys.
yeah thanks tegboi …we bought a da6 clip and sent it to a shop here in socal called Sinful Enhancements (www.sinfulenhancements.com) to get done almost 4 years ago. there was a lot of cutting and welding involved but so far the car is holding up as if nothing was ever done to it…if u have any more questions just let me know…ill be more than happy to help you out
rhdINTEG - how much was the front clip? what was missing? do u know where i can get one?
sorry hybridg21 for stealin ur post for a second…
hahaha its cool tegboi, yo rhdinteg i’ll email you
we bought the clip about 4-5 years ago and back then it was only 1500 complete…we even put a fuel pump adn started it while it was still on the trailer in half…unfortunately they are more expensive now usually 3000+…i know there a couple of importers in LA if you live in the socal area but best thing would be to search the internet
It would be cool to have a RHD integra. Just make sure that during rush hour, you only make right turns.
I should start exporting RHD Hondas to the States, seems like there may be a market.
dont see why though
bringing this back to life. so it would be extremely difficult to go RHD? i was planning on getting a JDM dash from new zealand. i can only imagine punching a hole through the firewall, and re-routing for the master cylinder.
