How and where did they steal your rims? Make sure you keep on checking craigslist and ebay for them.
no idea HOW they took them. they took them rite out the parking lot. my car was parked and im guessing they jacked the car up and took them. there were locks on them too. but i guess they werent good enough.
the cop came and dusted for prints. he found a few and im 100% positive theyre not mine.
the tow truck is on the way now and theyre gonna take it to my moms friend’s maaco shop. i dont wanna leave it sitting like that.
but the worst part is that now they know where i live and where i park my car. if they got balls like that whose to say that they wont come back…

Do you live in an apartment complex? If so, get a garage if they have them available, or if not then, when the lease is up find a place that does. I refuse to live somewhere without a garage…

yea man i live in a complex. and the messed up thing is that the front gate is broken and its ben broken for a few weeks now. and as far as moving goes im leaving in 2 weeks for basic training.
yea i said the same thing. it could of ben a lot worse. im happy that the windows arent smashed and all that. but the cops pulled 2 prints off the car so im just gonna have to wait to hear from them… :squint::squint:

I live in a gated complex too, but that wont stop anything. Just a peace of mind for the residents. You can easily walk by it and drive out with a stolen vehicle, or just wait for a car to go in and drive in behind it. Get a garage. I have 2 garages for my one bedroom apartment. One for my car and one for my girls car and both have garage openers in them.

now that i think about it ive got a good working alarm ill sell to you for cheap, i pulled it out of my car in great working shape, its a chapman (ill get the model if you want). the remote that i used is a little worn on the buttons but the other one is in great shape, never used it once. its got all the paperwork, user manual, wiring diagrams, shock sensor, two remotes, keyless entry, siren, wires, etc.
when i say cheap i mean it, you could probably take a date to a nice restaurant for more money than im asking for it. i just dont need it, i live and work in a smaller town, it came with the car so i didnt pay for it. so youre really doing me (and you apparently) a favor to get this gear off my shelves.

updates on this case.
i got home around 1130 that nite. and my neighbor got home around 2am and he saw the car already on bricks. so in that short time frame it happened.
this rules out a lot of options. for example: it wasnt random. someone was watching me and waiting.
my neighbor didnt say anything to me because he thought i was changing wheels or something since i was supposed to be going to the track on friday. so he thought nothing of it.
if you see someone with “new” meshies look at the center cap
so people are stealing stock wheels now?? wow.
