I’m not really upset. Just what i’ve taken notice and began to lose in respect for the DA/DB community (mainly the new version of the G2IC members).
If they are requesting these things, Then it just validates the ricer need to have everything in carbon fiber… I personally like little bits of carbon fiber here and there (Lip, hood, trunk lid, like the cf roof cap)… But thats about where it ends. I haven’t seen/heard the paint cracking on the spoiler, I’m guessing it wasn’t good quality paint that was cracking.
If it sells I guess… Despite what some may think of the company, But so far i think i might be the only one noticing everything now has a replica… Oh well.
If you think it’ll help the community go right ahead, I cant stop it… I don’t own a Integra anymore so it no longer bothers me to see everything replicated or made of carbon fiber.
The convo came up when I listed why I think the honda scene turned “gay”… Replica’s in my opinion don’t do to good in a “scene”. I’m sure the quality in the products you make is very good and if you intend on making anything for BMW LMK
well shit, i have a “mugen” replica front bumper, a replica RHD conversion, and a replica OE2 modified spoiler lip…

and dont you notice? the BMW scene has almost nothing but replicas, copies, and such. and are so much more open to find them anywhere, everywhere, and used. where as on g2ic, there’s 1 vendor who’s able to help the community out with it.

You have excuses and reasons for all, You did the RHD conversion before all the little JDM fan boys came around. Before everyone had wet dreams about driving a imported car… I don’t believe I said ricer in this thread either.
The BMW group are not fans of replica’s, Although the only replica thing I was able to find for my car is Alpina rep lip, M5 bumpers (made of fiberglass [nooo]) and wheels.

It’s actually used… Everything has a function, And if it doesn’t it doesn’t interfere with the car’s performance. Unlike those many people who dump the car ALL the way down with horrible negative camber.
BTW, I like JDP’s lips and the new lip spoiler for the DA. The lips are not exact replica’s their modified to sit lower then OEM and a lip looks good in CF. and the spoiler was never made for the DA from factory.
personally i enjoyed the pics of this thread. nice that a few owners still have their da’s! 90-93 Integras are one of the best looking cars ever made! i myself is glad that someone is making products for my wifes 18 yr old da.
