rod connecting to upper a arm wont lean back inside(it feels like the axle is restricting it, what could it be? aswell as the brake rotor and everything is leaning out. and we have tried to push it back up towards the wheel well. please help!!!

Did you made sure the splines on the axle is properly seated inside the hub before trying to push the hub back in? Pull the axle back out (on the hub side) and try to put it back in the right way.

If that’s not the case then you’ve probably loosened the axle from the shaft side… check that side as well to see if the splines are seated correctly.

You could have also separated one of the CV joints.

is the upper rear knuckle bolt in place? if not it could be letting it lean out and if youve tensioned the lower one then it could be binding it and not allowing it to move.

a CV joint wont limit the type of movement hes talking about, if it was itd slip back in with a bit of a bang but incase a good way to test the axle is to just grab the shaft and try to move it back and forth when everythings in place…if so then bad CV joint.
