exactly what i’m thinking…
just leave the odometer as it is, and just keep a record of what it was before. or just save the old cluster? If you ever sell it just tell people that you changed it at a certain milage.
I just rolled the milage up on a GSR Cluster for my B16A swap. You have to remove the cluster. Remove the speedo from the cluster. Remove the needle and guage face . There are three screws that hold the guage assy together. before you remove them there is a small clip on the odometer rod remove it. Take out the three screws and move the two pieces around until the green gear shaft falls out. Replace the three screws use a small flathead screwdriver to pull the odometer reals over one by one as you pull them over twist to reset the milage. It is not that hard to do just don’t pry anything. after the milage is set to what you want slowly slide the odometer reals back to the right, install the clip and remove the three screws, reinstall the green gear shaft , reinstall the three screws , guage face and needle.
