I was just wondering what the name for these are,
they sit right below the main bearing cap.
there seems to be space for 4 of them but i could only find 2.

Those are your thrust bearings they control side to side play of the crank.
and there should only be 2 of them, correct?
Correct.
thank you.
what is the name of the main oil seal on the t-belt side of the engine? Front-main seal?
This seems to be my biggest problem with this build is all the names for little parts.
So much different than rebuilding a small-block chevy
the front main seal is the one behind the pulleys.
the rear is the one on the trans side. just imagine if the motor was oriented like a SBC, tranny side is the rear, pulley side is the front.
Thata what i figured, thank you.
