This past Saturday I was driving when my car suddenly started to run abnormal. My car is bone stock and it now sounds like a Subaru (at least from the inside). It’s idling rough but the needle is still idling at its correct location. I just took out the plugs and noticed 1 plug seemed wet with gas (the plug closes to the driver side). All of the other plugs are fine. It’s been roughly 2 years since I’ve changed my plugs as well as the §§§§§ cap and rotor. The wires were not changed, however. No loss of anti-freeze, dip-stick was oil only so I doubt its a head gasket. PCV was changed a 2 years ago as well.
Inspect your cap and rotor for corrosion, especially for said cylinder that had a wet plug.
Wires tend to last a long time, so I would start with the basics of cap/rotor.
If it was possibly oil, i’d get a valvecover gasket kit and replace the sparkplug tunnel o-rings as they will let oil seep into the plug tunnel and can cause misfires.
[QUOTE=unified112;2250434]Are you sure it was gas and not oil?

my bad, I forgot to mention that I changed the valve cover gasket and plug grommets a little over a year ago. Im pretty certain it was gas.
if it were fuel pressure, all cylinders would be affected. drive it. if the problem doesn’t come back, then take care. if it does, we’ll talk to you soon
I’d keep an eye on your plugs man. I had the same problem and so did my bro. We had leaky ass valve cover gasket o-rings and I replaced mine and torqued them to 7 ft/lbs and my bro cranked the shit out of them with a ratchet and guess who had problems…
