ok guys i’m pretty sure i got ripped off on purchasing a gsr tranny… i just spent a whole night with a buddy putting it on and i didnt really notice any difference in gearing, i need some closure…
in 5th
100kph i’m doing 3000RPM
120kph i’m doing 3500RPM
did i just buy another LS tranny?
If ur car revs out way quicker. And ur top speeds at like 115 u prolly gota gsr i forgot the exact diff but u shud be at a way higher rpm if its a gsr tranny

Select both transmissions that are in question, compare the two. Done.

Thanks… Looks like I payed 300 for an LS tranny… It came with the thicker gsr linkage and gsr dual bend I was so sure it was a gsr…
you might also want to check out teammfactory.com and use their gear calculator… easier to compare RPM vs speed
My GSR doesn’t top out at 115.
The linkage and shifter on the GSR, LS, RS, GS are the exact same. Look up the part #'s. But I can tell you my GSR trans on stock tires turns about 4250 at 75 (120kph) in 5th gear, by 85 mph it is above 5k rpm.

strange… the shift linkage was much thicker than the one on mine when we replaced it… maybe from the DC GSR?
looking up ratios it seems our DA LS trannys are as short as the DC GSR… and the DC LS tranny is even longer than our LS trannys… either way i still got screwed
