Anyone out there own a RS-R cat-back exhaust?

Hows it look? feel? sound? price?

you can go on RSR’s homepage to see pictures of it. it looks like it goes straight to the back. no resonator, doesnt go through suspension, and has a slip fit design (springs, not bolts).

Does anyone have any sound clips of this exhaust? I’d really like to hear what it sounds like.

Well I think Kudosy might be talking about the RS-R Ex-Mag that is the rare kind for DAs… Not the Ex-Mag GT-II which is a fart can with no silencer and probably doesn’t sound too cool. Those links you posted are both for the GT-II.

In the Pictures of the exhaust on the website the exhaust looks different. the website exhaust is a canister and then teknohe’s exhaust is the same stupid set up as factory??..what gives

The one shown on the website is the RSR Ex-MagGT II exhaust “canister style” and the one shown above is the the original RSR Ex-Mag. Two totally different exhausts.

I’d stay way from the Ex-MagII, I hear it’s a fartpipe. Plus it doesn’t use the factory hangers either.

RS*R Ex-MagII

Does it sound loud even with the silencer? Anyone from G2IC have it installed in their car or one of their buddies? It would be nice hearing from someone who really has it.

Yea I know it doesn’t use factory hangers. But the Ex-mag is jus too stock looking for my taste. I’ve already got my mind set on RS*R Ex-MagGTII or HKS Hiper. Plus I want an exhaust that is louder than just stock.

to each his own, but i think stock looking performance parts are the only way to go. Then again, I have an obsession with sleeper-appeal.

tru to each his own, I jus want an exhaust that sounds like it has some balls. It’s not like I’m all ricer or ne thing my car is pretty low key the exhaust would be the only thing that stands out if any.

rs-s gt 2 exhaust

I just installed the rsr gt2 exhaust on my car…it sounds good …I have the silencer out cause it makes it sound like crap…and you have very little ground clearance. 2 of my friends have tanabe exhaust, but the rsr exhaust will drown them out, and it doesn’t sound ricie at all, it has big balls!!!
