hey guys, i just bought a used RS-R exmag. stainless steel axleback/ custom cat-back piping.
It sounds like the baffles are broken inside. But the rest of the cat-back that went with it was rusty inside. I could dump rust out of the piping by taping on it… I think these pieces of broken rusty metal have got into the muffler and has collected there over the past couple years. Is there anyway i can get them out? i tried shaking it out of the muffler but no luck… can i cut the muffler open and re weld it shut???
What would you guys recommend?? thanks!!
