RS-R Exmag Exhaust Question

I have a question about the RSR Exmag exhaust. I found one locally for sale for $300 and I think it’s a great price, only question I have is, will I need a extension for it to work with my GSR. The exhaust is off of a 91 Integra. Thanks for any help.

That is a good price for an RS-R Exhaust. Is it the black coated model or the Fully Stainless model ?

I bought mine new from RS-R and it came with an extension piece, maybe 4 inches long or so.

You might have to do some test pipe modifications. but then again, you might not have too.

The extension is for use on 90-91 models. I just measured the one that came with my system and its 1" and just a hair over 13/16ths. Almost 2". $300 is a good deal as long as its in good condition, and that its the full stainless system. If its the black system, I wouldn’t buy it. They rust out pretty easily, hence them changing the design/construction.

Thanks guys. I’ll ask him if he still has the extension piece. I live in OKlahoma, so I don’t think rust would be an issue

I just paid twice that (including shipping) for a stainless one. Don’t listen to unified, either one is worth $300 unless the pipes are bent to hell.

Hey hey! I wasn’t sure how much snow OK gets… but here in salt lake we get quite a bit, not to mention all the salt they dump on the ground to melt the ice. Have you seen the pictures of the rotted-out RS*R exhausts? From what I read the black systems are very prone to corrosion. I’m just giving the dude a heads up. Paying $300 for an exhaust that may not last more than a year or two, is asenine imo.

Imo it is a good deal, only if it is in good condition still. Do you have any pics? When I purchased my RSR years ago it was over 700 bucks. -Fail-

i paid bout 700 for mine 6 or 7 years ago straight from rs*r too… wish i would have waited to get the stainless steel one
