Damn that’s some straight piping!
Do you think overall it’s worth it? I mean, there’s so little clearance, and it kinda looks funny from some angles. But I imagine it’s the best flowing exhaust system available.
do you have any pics from the side? It’d be interesting to see the ground clearance it has in the middle of the car. And is your car lowered at all? from the first pic it doesn’t look like it.
the only prob with clearance is the last bend which is 3 to 3.5 inches, the rest of it fits in the groove where the old exhaust was, this exhaust is worth it, if you don’t mind taking different routes(away from rough roads,etc) the sound is great. if you are planning on getting this exhaust, I wouldn’t want to start lowering your car you’d prob end up with about inch-inch and half that’s to damn close for me

Looks like it could be tucked up higher & closer to the bumper, but even so it still wouldn’t save you from a big enough speed bump.

Wow, that has got to be the shittiest and cheapest looking exhaust I have ever seen. Who gives a shit if it’s RS*R, that looks very rice. Only the HKS Hiper can pull off the canister style look without looking cheap. Forget ever lowering your car.

It’s not that loud, I am not down with hks, I never planned on lowering my car, too noticeable for a turbo project car but everybody has there own thoughts on parts and etc
Personally, I like the fact that somebody actually built a minimal bend exhaust system for our cars instead of worrying about how it looks. It sucks that it hangs so low, but that’s life.
that thing is not installed right, your moissing a hanger or something check it

ehhh… did you get the rite one for youcar … comparing the silver one from the rsr site and yours its not fitting very similarly…

now if you compare the two pictures you will see there is a difference between the two exhausts… …so it is installed right, that is the only way…if you try a different way you won’t even be able to hook up the muffler to the back hangers…the gas tank hangs right before the bend, it will block the pipping…so look closely at the two pictures and you will see what I am talking about.

why is there so much gap in your exhaust and almost none on the exhaust from the site. But what i am glad to see is that someone actually makes an exahsut like that!. I hate the factory design of our exhaust systems. just dosen’t seem right for performance
im thinking of autocrossing my car so ive got a fuel cell on the way. So the gas tank not being there will let me mount this thing better right?

I doubt that, RS*R is a good company…the wouldn’t produce a shit product. That exhaust is not installed correctly or something.
I think a little modification to your rear bracket or hanger from the pipe should pull up the canister up. if you like it as is then leave it. IMHO I think looks a little odd hanging too low.
I would like to know if there is enough clearance from the last bend to the gas tank? If so then you have a lot of play to raise that last part of the piping.
the rs*r gtII is a sweet exhaust I jus hope mine doesn’t hang like that when I get it. In addition my car is lowered.
