Ok so i know this one dude who desperately needs money. he crashed his 04 rsx. he lost his job and he’s now parting out his crashed car. he’s selling a pair of gray leather rsx seats in good condition (no blown air bags) for $100. I think its a pretty good offer. for the pair, but my DA interior is black, so should i get them and re-sell them or what do you think??

well, stock, there are no gray RSX seats, they are black or tan (or Ebony and Titanium if you want to use Acura’s terms). I’m gonna guess vertical fitment might be an issue in a DA, the bottom cushion is a lot higher off the floor than a DA seat.
He looking to sell anything else? Such as an armrest or wheels?

Hmm well wheels…one of them is super crooked which is the righ-front. Armrest idk…good idea:idea: I will re-sell those also lol
I’ve got the seats in my DB2. They sit way high.
Unless you are good with a grinder and welder they won’t sit right. That’s the next step in mounting these things…maybe.

Can’t you just buy like low sitting rails from Sparco or whoever and weld them on?
The rails are not really an issue but rather the seat frame.
I dunno of any company that makes rails for the DA.
If you wanted to try ripping the seat apart to remove the tilt function you might get it moved down, otherwise it is just the fact that they are designed to sit higher off the floor than DA seats. If you go to sell them, try Civic forums; Civic guys want RSX leather and RSX guys want Civic suede - go figure.
