RSX seats in a DA??? attempted anyone??

watsup g2 i was wondering if anyone has tried puttin in rsx leathers or cloths into their DA. i want to do it bcz i like the style and bucket of the seats… i cant find any write ups. someone let me know

get to know a metal fabricator. the guy i know charges 30 bucks an hour and can make just about anything you need. it took him an hour to make mounts for my friends Miata to run factory S2k seats. they dont slide, but they are sturdy as hell, his 350lb cousin rides shotgun regularly with no obvious wear on the brackets.

anything is possible if you can weld.

a metal fabricatorr sounds goood damm 30 an hour not that baddd…plusss it sounds like he didnt do a badd jobbb but i wud like for my seats to slidee. thnxxx

I read a thread somewhere either here on this site or another where someone has done this with a how to thread. If I find it I will post the link.

Need to search

Told You they were bad pics:shrug:
These are way heavier than stock seats, they also sit higher up than the stock seats. Doesn’t matter to me since I lay my seats damn near in the back anyway. You can not use our existing seat rails with the new seats unless you remove the welds on the Rsx seats. If it wasn’t so hott here I would do it that way but as for now I just extended the Rsx brackets with 2 inch thick steel plates to reach the existing stock holes. Also I’m am not using regular bolts to attach them. I’m using Grade 8 Nuts and Bolts That’s the same ones Oem uses. Got them from Ace hardware.

They feel 10x’s better than stock. I you have the opportunity to use s2k seats do it, the rails can be swapped with DA rails with no problem, they sit lower and hold you tighter than the Rsx seats.

O R L Y

any write up :gotpics:

This same step is used for the DA rails as well.
