Anybody have any experience with these?
Looks like the same basic design as ES/Prothane. Do some research on those brands, there’s a lot of heated discussion about them. Personally I’d stick with an OE style instead of the solid style and opt for OEM, Mugen or Hardrace. If it’s for a track-only car then go for the PCI offset bushings, they’re top notch.
hardrace is the only RTA bushing that matters. if youre going to buy one then get it from them.
I used the gen 3 mugen rta bushing. If you have a mill its not hard to retro fit.
Hardrace are a bit harder than OEM but not excessively harsh and you’ll get used to them quickly. I’m sure going from blown out bushings to OEM would be noticeably firmer too. Either OEM or Hardrace get my vote.
Well I’m happy I ordered a set of the Hardrace units now. Arms are both out laying on the shop floor waiting for them to show up. How difficult are they to press in (orientation/alignment wise)? I have a small press at home but am a bit intimidated.
I put Hardrace in my upper control arms, when I swapped in my Skunk2 arms. Just received lower arm and trac rod bushings, which go in soon. So far, I can’t see a single reason to buy anything other than Hardrace. The quality looks to be very good, and should outlast OEM. As a bonus, there’s no need to grease/lube them.
So these are listed on the Hardrace site and seem to be designed for reliable street use . . . thoughts?
That link didn’t work for me
YA stopped working for me too. Just go to Hardrace website and look up RTA bushing for DA
