Rust Proofing DA....

Has anyone used POR 15 when rustproofing/restoring your undercarriage parts? Looking at different options after i get to working on mine. Been awway too long on deployments, etc. Now i have actually settled in the U.S. with a good garage setup to begin my project. Just getting back into things. Stay funky yall!

I rebuilt the front suspension 3 years ago and used POR 15 on some of the components that I didn’t replace. I used the POR 15 on the lower control arm, the fork at the bottom of the shock and on the radius rods. The paint was applied with a brush. You will not be dissappointed. The paint is very durable. I put all new bushings in and replaced both upper A-arms. I also use the POR 15 on the spindles? (the part that houses the sealed bearings). I bought the POR 15 Super Starter Kit for $22 and had plenty left over.

Thanks, the winters can be pretty harsh here so i was wondering if anyone tried it. Peace

Can I ask what are the prep stage before applying POR 15? Also is it safe with plastic or rubber made materials?
