RustBucketDA's car thats never gonna run again wire tuck/shaved bay/brake line tuck/

this is my first car/project that will probly take a really long time to finish. so i thought i would start one of these and show the progress over time…

i dont have my liscense yet so i have plenty of time to completely re-do the bay and one day finish the bodywork…

future mods: wire tuck, shaved bay, some type of DOHC VTAKKK motor, lowered, getting rid of automatic seatbelts, remove rear wiper, remove power steering and A/C, remount battery, white paint… and few more things that i cant remember.

car: 91 integra LS with 237,000 miles
(took bumpers and headlights off)

the rust (in many more places)

stock bay (motor in)

(motor out) with new JDM one pieces

left it outside during a pretty bad storm with the windows cracked

battery relocation…

took some more things out from in the bay and started welding some holes

started the wire tuck

i wish i knew what i was doin!

now were getting some where

2/3/10 Started on passenger side tuck (hated taking pedal assembly and fuse box out)

2/16/10 Pretty much done with headlight tuck

guiding me trhough this tuck The DA wire tuck write up - Generation 2 Integra Club™ Forum
and i am no where near finished with the tuck
2/16/10 pretty much done with grinding the small holes (still gotta do the big ones)

just bought me some decent blades for my old steelies, EBAY coilovers and $170…

and yes i know the tires are huge… also not in the greatest of shape but no curb rash, just clear peeling

brake lines are now off… with the carolina line wrench

GSR motor to go with the blades

more to come!!!

bought this stuff last week

mounted the remote terminals

looks like a lot of work needs to be done, but good luck bro.

has anyone tucked the windshiled wiper motor? Have you thought about doing that?

thanks… im gettin there

never crossed my mind…

I’m glad that thread helped you out! I know Glynn really took some effort in organizing/writing it. Looks like you’re taking it a couple steps further though

he did it the way I had originaly intended to on the drivers side, I would love to see a picture of the clearence of that hole and whats on the inside .

ill also recomend you find something to fill that hole with, Ive found it can be quite drafty and that just with one:idea:

loving it so far man, keep it up:up:

i’m pretty sure its not an option, where would you move it to and still have it operate the wipers lol its not like moving the brake lines where you can rebend them etc.

thinking about maybe incorporating the EG setup into this. the wiper motor is in the cowl on them.

I never thought f swapping it like that I guess with a little work it could be done

Wait til the sanding part comes in you are gonna feel like it’s nver gonna be over keep up the hard work
