Can this antenna be easily painted? I have an all white exterior, and thought that a black antenna would throw off my painted moldings.
IMO, some things were meant to be left unpainted (read: S2000 antenna). That along with your black front grille, black window trim and black tires will look just fine against your car’s all-white exterior…unless you’ve already painted them as well. ![]()
Really? I thought that white tires would compliment my white painted windows? Just kidding, but I was just wondering if the antenna would hold the paint well?

Probably won’t, it’s like those people who paint there mudgaurds, yoru antenna is gona flex in teh wind, and cause the paint to strees and chip off not worth it

found this pic, now I am not sure why this guy painted his antenna silver. However, I am sure with a flex additive, the paint would stick.

Another silver S2000 antenna, but the color makes more sense on this car (even thought I don’t like the car).
thats a nice close up of that antenna but i wanting 2 know , i know thats the antenna on the top and the pad on the bottom but wuts that black thing in the middle of the antenna and pad.
i need that part so i can put my antenna in…
maybe the paint for lexan RC car bodies might work, it’s designed so that if the body of the car gets hit it won’t chip. I don’t know if it would stick though. If it did that would be exactly what you’re looking for.

that thing in the middle is connected to the “pad”, those pieces go for like 5 bux at acura. but remembr. the “pad” is attached to the middle piece-1 part!
THANK YOU!
If you use a paint with a flex additive (i.e. bumper paint) the finish should stand up to stress fine. As for the paint adhering to it, you’ll have to scuff the finish of the antenna with 2000 grit sandpaper or something similar.
