Well after another trip to the track this week, I have learned three things. One is that no matter how bad I am at timing the lights or launching my car my 60 ft times are insanely good. The other two things I leaned are that I need a lot of practice at launching my car and driving at the track. I do hope that the member that works in the tower did watch and will back me up on my 60 ft times, and as you can see they are very consistent. Any feedback and or tips to help would be greatly appreciated.
hate to break it to you but i watched every run you made tonight, and then i took a look at your car, one of the plastic splash gaurds is hanging down tripping the 60’ lights early. just about every run you made you spun pretty bad.
now please don’t get all defensive, you car is slammed (and looks good btw) but that is why you’re getting those times. take off the plastics and you’ll get your true 60’
i’ve worked there plently long enought to know what basically every car is capible of. and 1.9-1.8 60’ out of a b16 g2 running 15’s on es100’s (see i was watching ) is not possible.
ok well atleast i know how it was hapening. so does that mean that i was tripping all my times early? if not why just the 60ft? and i know i need to greatly improve my driving at the track, hopefully i will start to see improvements.
so my 60 ft time then is 2.0 not 1.9? besides wouldnt the air be pushing any loose plastic towards the rear of the car? well anyway i am going to take of the loose plastic off and go make another trip to the track in a couple of weeks and then ill know what my real times are.
