I really want to go to my Solo2 event today, but my car’s engine has been making a ticking sound(not loud) for about a week. I’m sure it’s just an indication that it’s time for a valve adjustment.
So how dangerous is it to my car, to drive it hard now? I havn’t been taking it easy on it this week or anything.
put oil in it your lifters are probably ticking 
there’s plenty of oil in it. I just went out and checked.

So does anyone know if it should be safe to race? I have to go in a couple hours.
Should be just adjust them when you get back. They’ll be even worse then.
how bad cna they become??? i got 403’s running in my auto and the valves been ticking the first day they were in hehe.

B18A’s are overhead cam engines and dont have lifters!!!
