salvanya silverstar bulbs

How are they ? how is the ouput on these headlight bulbs ?

I’m very impressed with the silverstars. I noticed a great improvement in lighting. They produce a really nice bright white light, not that cheesy blue light like the cheap bulbs.

They are awesome. My friend has some in his 94 teg and I wish I had them. They are way better than my Eurolites.

probably the best cheap upgrade ever!. I can finally see!
Get them ASAP.

Incredible. They don’t throw out more light, but the light that they throw out is very white. Not blue, not yellow, not fake-HID, but just pure, white light. I recommend them, and I know more than a few people that swear by them. They won’t drive a car without them (unless it has HID, obviously).

do they make them in h4, or are they only made for the three piece headlights?

sylvania silverstars

what about the 9004 vs modded 9007 and issues of bulb life?

How Much?

40/pair

Thanks, I might have to pick some up.

Should I buy the 9004 Silverstars or the 9006 and do the conversion?

sorry its 9007 not 9006. 9006 is the standard low beam for g3’s/cl’s etc. and 9007 isnt only for high beams, others use it for low as well.

people have complained about the 9007 dying after a few months.
some have not… i think if the connections are all clean, theres no reason why it should die prematurely. better yet, make a relay so it draws power directly from the battery, that would be the safet bet.

Do our cars have 1 headlight bulb for both high/low, or would I have to buy 2 pairs for the headlights?

Nope Just one set 4 both.

Thank you.

Anyone try to modify their H4 bulb to fit into the 1 pieces?? How did it turn out?? Any opinions??

Do the conversion. Not hard – just buy a pair of 9004 harnesses from Kragen (~$2.99 a piece) and you won’t have to cut your factory wiring. I got the 9007 setup and it’s a WHOLE lotsa-betta.
