Well i changed my distributor cap,
wires,
plugs,
rotor,
the ecu is giving me a code 9,
the car sputters when i take off,
and almost every time i give it a little gas.
I’ve unplugged the o2sensor when the car is warmed up,
same thing.
what is going on with my teg?
Im in the same boat as you. My car is doing the same thing. Im leaning towards the coil. If you know someone that has a coil you could try there not too hard to change. If you find the cure please let me know.
Code 9 would be No. 1 cylinder position…
Try taking your valve cover and upper timing belt cover off and check that thing out… it almost seems like your belt skipped. When was the last time it was changed?
the belt is fine,
the only thing i haven’t changed is the coil.
the car runs fine above 3 grand, just sputters on take off,
and sometimes when i shift,
i did notice today, i was sitting at the light, and my tac started bouncing. this is the first time it happened.
the car almost died, but went right back to normal
well i took the distributor cap off, and the rotor,
I’m not for sure but i took out something with 4 plugs,
crimped them and just as i was about to put everything back together, i noticed a bunch of copper wire shredded ,
its all the way in the back, what should i do?
the hood is up , and i need some help.
should i try to clean up some of the shredded wire?
