San Jose G2 BBQ Idea

GENERAL G2IC Meet Formation

Have this idea of setting up a BBQ at Lake Cunningham on either July 9th/10th. Plenty of parking there, and it’ll keep G2 “enthusiasts” around. Not a lot of “DOWN” people have been showing up, and I know for a FACT there’s tons rolling around San Jose. Anyways, the only rules that would be established are:

Everyone would have to:
-Contribute something to the BBQ.
-Get along with one another. NO DRAMA, NO BULLSHIT.

That’s pretty much it. Trying to see who’s still on this forum, that would be down for a Summer G2 BBQ.

If it wasn’t 6hrs away I definitely would be down. No one meets up in so cal anymore :frowning:

Well California in general has a lot of shady people. Hence why there aren’t a lot of people willing to come out to a regular meet. :\

hopefully this should turn out very well like the one with 17 cars. should be easier with people off school and I’m guessing the list gets bigger as the event draws close.

btw did this site ever have a socal vs norcal meet before?

I will post the day and address for sure in 2 weeks. Right now it’s just a matter of seeing who would be down to have a BBQ. Cuz if there aren’t gonna be at least 15 people on this list by that time, I feel it wouldn’t be worth the time. So I’ll keep everyone posted on that.

Sorry guys, been outta the loop for a week and a half. Did my LS/V swap, and ran into some major issue with it; head gasket failed. >___> I’m glad this is only an idea thread, rather than the actual meet. I have no idea what’s going to happen at the moment. Sent my car to the shop outta pure frustration and not willing to deal with it. Hoping to get it by this week. I also just acquired a new job, and so will have to make this happen a little later on in the month to request the day off.

As to the day, it WILL be a Sunday for sure. Seeing as how I know there aren’t going to be too many conflicts with everyone’s day-to-day job routine.
