Sanding touch up paint?

I applied some touch up paint to spots that needed it and I dont really like how it sticks out. Can I possibly wetsand over it to remove the excess with like 2000 then 3000 then buff it to perfection or am I stuck with the buldge?

have u thought about rubbing or polishing compound?

I will try that before anything I guess.

I’ve seen or read some “touch-up tips” wherein a blob of touch-up paint is made to harden on top of the scratch. Once the blob is hard it is shaved down to the surface level of the original paint by cutting it off with a single blade razor before finishing the area with rubbing and polishing compound.

touchup

Jrod , there is a kit made to do what you need , it comes with a small sanding block that will remove teh buldge, and then you buff to perfestion.
This is by far the easiest way to fix your spot repair.
