so i picked up another 1990 honda integra xsi. rough shape, wanting TLC…
anyways, here is a little history of the car…
a local dealer brought over from japan a couple years ago,
it ended up being painted blue, crashed a few times, and then painted black, then now silver.
i got my hands on it and now it’s a rehab project. only has 126xxx kms on it… this teg has been through too much and i want to give it some more life!! I won’t be holding onto this teg, so it will be for sale in the future after i get it going. i hope it goes to a good owner.
pretty much everything/anything you can think of is broken in this thing. things from,
- climate control
- folding mirrors
- front rad support bent
- air vents the dash
- e-brake
- hood latch
- missing spare
- etc etc etc…
everything on this teg is painted silver except for the glass…
(mouldings, weatherstrip, you name it.)
gladly i have everything this integra needs. so the project begins!!!
the front rad support will need some straightening up… i will be replacing the front fenders, bumper, hood, and maybe doors. this car needs TLC!!! a great challenge for me. i cant wait to get this looking O K again. here are some pics of it, make fun, whatever, but it will looks 10x better in the future
stay tuned and i will update pics as i go along!
so far i’ve temporarily replaced the tail lights with 92-93 tails, the original left tail light has overspray and is cracked, the right side will need wet sanding and a good polish to get rid of the overspray.
the door jams on the car have been painted and i was wondering if anyone knew how to strip it down to the original color? there is lots of overspray on this car and would like to know how to get rid of it. the original color is torino red, which is a beautiful color… so sad it has been painted multiple colors… here are some pictures…
getting rid of this ugly cluster bezel!
92 tails installed
Last but not least, lime greeen brakes.
Dont know why they’re green.
